For this unit, I chose to do my work based on the artist, devorah sperber. The reason I chose her is because she makes pixelated art with everyday objects like spools of thread. I have always liked pixel art and I even have some pretty nice creations on a video game. Devorah sperber uses a viewing sphere which I don't have access to, but I was still able to replicate her pixelated style. You may notice that her work is upside down but that is only because of the viewing sphere. My work is not meant to be upside down. For my work, instead of using spools of thread, I used stuff called perler beads. They are meant to be formed into a picture, and then ironed together.

This is the original picture I used. I had to find a way to pixelate the image and then print it out. This was hard to do because I was on my phone and I didn't have access to photoshop and a printer
I used these perler beeds as seen above to create the pixels. I was lucky enough to make the pixels the same size as the beeds
